I changed out the system Fluid to High temp Synthetic Brake fluid for starters to handle issues with boiling fluid and increased pressure.
But I did make sure there is no resistance between the master piston plunger and the push-rod from the brake booster when I made the adjustments originally.
But your right it is a good idea to remind people that care needs to be taken when doing this.![]()
Go out and get the brakes nice and hot and see if they start to lock up. Have tools with you just in case.

I finally got the correct fittings for my trans cooler and got that back together on my blue mm, today im going to drop the fuel tank on my black mm to change the evap hose the runs above it.... I am dreading doing this.
If you don't mind me asking, how do you know that your evap hose needs replacement? Just curious what symptoms led you to it.
Thanks
Went over to Gordon's Garage today with my dad and we installed drilled & slotted rotors, new ceramic pads, ss brake lines and put my old blue calipers back on from my old Marauder.
Unfortunately when taking the rear drivers side rotor off looks like my emergency brake shoe was warped/melted onto the inside. After banging the rotor off with a sledgehammer, bits and pieces off the bottom shoe fell out. I'm going to have to start a thread in the brake forum. Anyone ever replace the shoes before? Are they Marauder specific or is it similar to a grand maq or crown Vic?
Anyways I won't be using my e brake until I replace the shoes. In the meantime, the new brakes are doing great!

Looks nice just wish the slots in the rotors were cut all the way to the outside lip.
But yes had the same issue with the rear drum brakes had to change them out as well when I did mine.
Funny I only use the e-brake once a year to test it just in case but still feel the need to make sure they are okay.

That's what happens if you don't use the parking brakes all the time. They freeze up and you have problems getting the rotors off.
