Sounds like either a loose spark plug or a rod knock to me. Sounds too low pitched to be cam or injector related to my ears (I am listening to it on a 5.1 speaker system if that matters). Hard to diagnose over the internet. I WOULD buy it.

You can do your own, just make sure you use the oil weight that is specified for your vehicle and keep records of the maint. that you do.

www.crutchfield.com is a great place to shop for car audio. They are sometimes not the cheapest, but they have customer service that is second to nobody.

If it doesn't have a drain plug, most do not, remove the fill plug and suck out the fluid with a vacuum device and a small clear tube. Get as much out as possible and refill with 75w140 which is synthetic. I would do this every 30,000 miles. I am pretty sure the newer models have a drain plug...
