Thanks guys! I'll let you know what I decide to do.
Thanks man. Things got busy and I lost momentum. I am glad to be able to get back to it. I am very close.
I suppose I can find a nice place for it in the trunk. It just wasn't my preference.
As far as SC piping location. It is just easier to route it there and gives me a straight shot to the intake.
Looking for ideas on where to relocate the air compressor to. I've seen some posts about relocating to the trunk, but I prefer to keep it out front if possible. I want to use that space for s/c piping.
Pics would be awesome if you have any.
Thanks!
I saw that. I found this one in ebay for less than $300. I have to check for clearances tonight. It looks like this one is slightly thicker than the one you had posted earlier.

I am just starting to look into low profile fans and came across this old thread/post. Sounds like a Mustang fan would be a low budget option, but not as reliable in hot weather. A twin fan like the one quoted above seems to be the way to go. Any better suggestions out there?
Thanks!
Stock values are typically all over the place. I believe my intake was 118. I was really going after the longer Cobra 98 duration. I should clarify I have a stroker with 9:6.1CR.
CJ,
Glad to hear you didn't give up. Looks like you are closer than ever. Good luck with the project and definitely post pics.
What BOV did you end up going with?
These folks know what they are talking about. I went the cheap route and made it work. I had read a large degree wheel was a must so I PRINTED a large one and done. The HF dial indicator served me perfectly well. If you go this route buy the one with the vice grip (Did I mention I have one...
I agree Cobra 98 would be a cheap way to go, but you better degree the cams. You'll need some tools and cam gears.
I bought a HF Dial Indicator (I'd be happy to sell) and printed my own degreeing wheel.
Correct. No defects on the bore hole or fitting.
Agreed, the problem is not with the fitting. Assuming your fitting doesn't require an O-ring, my guess is the problem has been either too much RTV or not enough.
Thanks, at least now I know the black RTV should work. I've always made sure...
I am open to using something else, but for now I need to make what I have work. I know others here are using the same setup without trouble.
Your fittings. I tried "The Right Stuff" black gasket maker and also tried the gray RTV. The first one held the longest. Both are rated for over 600...
One of my two engine cooling mod connections keeps failing. I am using one of those brass fittings to connect to where the freeze plug used to be. I used a couple of different types of RTVs and so far the RTV fails. Sometimes the RTV holds for months, but it eventually fails.
The other...
