I just got the battery tester from amazon.com, it is an Ancel BA101 and is for "cars/boats/motorcycles & more." I haven't used it yet, but reading the instructions for a quick test w/ the battery in the car one step asks for the AH Value. Maybe because it is a tester for multiple battery...
Your google skills are better than mine since I couldn't find the formula justbob! :o
From the Motorcraft spec chart I see where you got 165 for the reserve capacity, but where did you get (25) amps?
Thanks in advance justbob!
I don't think that is right Spectragod, the tester manual says, "in general, the battery capacity for 12V vehicles is above 30AH." The meter itself is asking for a two digit number.
My batter tester is asking me to input an "AH Value." It say the info is on the sticker of the battery but I can't find it! Thanks in advance for any assistance!
Thank you everyone for your input, much appreciated !
It was a failed Blower Motor Control Module/Resistor. I got it replaced today at my friendly local Ford dealer and it's nice to have A/C again, especially since it was 92°F & humid today!
