No performance mods or tuning that I am aware of. I bought it from the original owner via the Baltimore Harley dealer and met the guy who traded it in. He did not mention any work done. I did open the access panel to the primary yesterday to check on the cam chain tensioners and everything...
The time has come to move in another direction motorcycle wise. All of the info is in the attached flyer. Pass it along to anyone who may be interested.
Thanks!
As are most statistical representations. At best they are "what if" scenarios, but sometimes a graph like the one Charlie put together can be used as a rough reference point.
Wow, that sure was a blast from the past! That was dad's company car back in the late 70's. His previous company car was a Buick Electra 225. THAT was a barge. I remember the Merc just floating down the road to various locales in Wisconsin during hockey season and there was enough room in...
Just take 'em off
I did the complete wiper delete and it was probably one of my favorite mods... I got caught in the rain on one occasion but due to the copious amount of RainX I had applied to the windshield I was good to go! :D
Hurst?
Is the Hurst Line Lock no longer available? That is what I had on my car. No special modifications needed. I had the "lock trigger" mounted to the shifter with a "locked" indicator light mounted on the A Pillar and the set up worked perfectly.
Marty, I don't know if my car at 459 RWHP was considered "high HP" but I was running the stock COP's and never had a problem. Except when I power washed the engine bay and ruined a couple. :mad2:
That $1.75 for the wash turned into $800 real quick...
Initially I was thinking that the stupidest person in that crowd was the first guy to do whatever that is to their cars, but after further contemplation I have concluded that by far the stupidest person in that crowd was the SECOND guy to do this...
On another note, I just noticed that this is...
Wow, stuff is cheap down that way. That house in a similar neighborhood in my neck of the woods would be in the 2.5 million range. In suburban DC, probably 4.5 million.
Hard to believe that nobody was killed!
Thanks guys! Spent the day beating the bushes for business and then at the driving range watching my oldest hit ball after towering ball. Now off to the lacrosse field to watch my younger boy put some balls in the net.
Life is good! It would be a bit more exciting with a Marauder, but...
Only if they had some sense when they were young. Now that I am getting older, I have come to realize that just because you were lucky enough to make it to old age, you were not automatically blessed with wisdom.
Cool ad though...
My Marauder sported the wiper delete for a number of years! :D On the extremely rare occasion the car was caught in the rain, I had enough RainX on the windshield to make it through the monsoon season in Sri Lanka!!!
