When I swap to a different DDM, the code is already switched (using the code from the new DDM) and the car does the same thing.

It happens with the fob as well. The DDM has 2 trunk release outputs. One is putting out a small amount of power and causing the trunk to open. I've tried cleaning all grounds on both kick panels multiple times. It has me stumped.

I have a 300a that randomly had all of the door locks/ddm stop working. It had a corroded wire in the passenger inner fender which I repair. I hope you used a new bearing to press on for final assembly after you determined your shim thickness. If not, that race is going to spin on the pinion while driving and ruin the gear set, as well as everything else in the axle in no time.
