List of obsolete parts for th Marauder.

I've been getting the 1805 but they are never in the local area and always have to be ordered. I thought the other two were replaced by 1805. Thanks.

List of obsolete parts for th Marauder.

What's to happen with our stock air filter element? It is peculiar to us. My dealer never has one and ordered one for me this week. Will they soon be gone? Then I would have to do a CAI!

    Finally a complement!!

I haven't received too many out of the blue compliments but recently I was walking around my local neighborhood shopping center parking lot when a real young guy (early 20s) comes out of the GNC store (he works there) and starts talking about my car. He knew all about Marauders and had seen my...

    Aeroforce gauges?

Yes, the Aeroforce essentially gives you real time data which the ScanGauge does not. I've had my Aeroforce for a few years now and it works perfectly.

2 Problems, Battery Voltage and Hmmm noise

I took mine into the dealer to quiet the air compressor. They re-located it's mounting points a little. The noise is less but not as much as I had hoped. It is a common complaint and, yes, it is embarrassing. Can't help on the charging situation but does not sound good. You should have both...

    DOOM on the dyno

Thanks DOOM. I was about to clean the wax out of my ears but now you've saved me the trouble! Awesome numbers, Man. I pity the poor suckers who take you on this summer. Jon

    Reason for the Carlisle Email.

Thanks for staying on top of this, Paul. I see how the process is different this year with mailing out of the stickers. Maybe the check-in times will be a little shorter this way. Jon

    Carlisle; class listing

Thanks, Paul. The e-mail may be legit but looks kinda fishy. I've never had to call ahead before. Jon

    2010 Carlisle Registration instructions

Me too. I wonder if a bunch of us will get this e-mail. Why? They had that info when I registered, i.e., 2004 Marauder. Why do they have to ask and require a specific phone call? What happened to the TWO classes? Jon

    Paint issue...

My '04 DTR had paint flaws (a few specific spider cracks) in the hood from the beginning though the rest of the paint seems to be holding up. I never mustered up the effort to go after Ford since I bought my car out of state and brought it home. I'm thinking this summer to get the front clip...

The AeroForce Interceptor: http://www.aeroforcetech.com/ I have it in place of the voltmeter and usually have it on Trans Temp and Voltage.

CVN wants to join us at Carlisle.

I have nothing against them but this is not the place given the prominence of this show and the hard work we have done to separate ourselves and gain some recognition.

    MM's in the snow

Not much fun with stock tires and no weight in the trunk! I don't prepare for winter because we usually don't have much if any. This year we got drilled. 75 inches of snow so far and another month or so of snow possible.

Just installed a pair of Borla Pro XS

I put on the universal Borla Turbo Mufflers for small block V8s. My impression is the loudness is about the same as OEM mufflers but the tone is lower and richer. I never regretted the change. If you want loud, these ain't it. These are not the Pro XS mufflers.

Collapsed Roof, No Power, more Snow on the Way

I lived in the great North of Minneapolis for 9 Winters (that is the unit, not years) and this one-two snow storm punch to the DC area is worse than any short period of snow I experienced in Minneapolis. MOST of the time it's quite decent here in winter. I've been here 19 years.

Collapsed Roof, No Power, more Snow on the Way

That's probably not enough. I paid more and was glad to do it when some kids finally showed up Sunday evening to finish my driveway and blow a path from driveway to the rutted center pathway in the street - no plows at all yet. I have back problems and I'm glad to see the kids come around...

Collapsed Roof, No Power, more Snow on the Way

I had the MM out yesterday for the first time since Thursday evening - yes it is my daily driver! I have the stock tires which are not good for the snow. Normally in this area we can get by easily with regular tires except for the handful of days with snow. This year I've recorded over 60 in...
