I know this is an old thread, but I might be able to contribute something. With 3.55 gears, I could go WOT at exactly 30mph and the car would downshift to first and pin me in my seat. With the 4.10's, I have to be going about 24mph to get the same feeling.

Also, it's fairly easy to swap out the gauge face from the oem into the aftermarket one. The only difference is the numbers are not backlit on the aftermarket one. All you have to do is slowly pry up on the back of the metal trim ring in circles until it opens up. It's easier to do than it sounds.

I did this repair during the summer with the radio shack bulb. It works, but it's nowhere near as bright as the original bulb.

:lol: I was thinking the same thing. The stock tune was pathetic throttle response and overdrive engaged at 30 mph. If it was really tuned by SVT, then they should just hang themselves.

Or you could get super lucky and get a used Trilogy kit and have the total install cost about the same as the Eaton swap. :P :D
