    What is "streetable horsepower"?

Mac, you afforded me the lucky opportunity to drive your #1x car for a short time the other day and I thought it was thoroughly "streetable". Maybe it might be considered a little loud at the exhaust end under wot by some bystanders ( but not the vehicle occupants), but I thought it drove just...

    Chicken Run

Was good to see you again Mac and meet ex00p71. Anyway, this was my first visit to the "Chicken Basket", and what a great throw-back in time the place is. Made me feel like I was 9 or 10 years old again. Half expected to see my mom, dad and siblings, circa 1958, sitting inside with the family's...

Dealership doesn't like deal, takes car back

 The thing about switching to a healthier type "blo*me" sandwich at the lock-up is priceless Mac. Are you guys serving them with sugar-free Kool-ade too? :D ......Anyway, I assume the state DMV types that license new car stores there in TN would be all over these guys.

    Build Sheets?

Build sheet, line ticket, Auto-Tel, broadcast sheet (any of you guys remember GM's Fisher "body drop" sheets?). No matter what they call em, it appears that they usually just dump them now days (as Canadasvt said) instead of stuffing it into some hidden spot on the finished product. Kind of a...

    Ford 500 Question

Hello everyone, just rented a Ford 500 for a month and wanted to program the keyless entry pad. I've rented FoMoCo products in the past and have usually found the cars factory assigned code on a card either in the glove box or hidden under the spare etc, but have been unable to find a card in...

You too can own the "Chick Magnet"

Geeeze....that thing looks like an old police radio patrol car and with over 100K on the clock too. Not too hard to imagine what a crap sled that bad boy might be. :D

    Busted!

LOL. Sorry Mac, sort of sensed something along those lines was going on after I pulled-up. I did point out to that gentleman, "Guy" the rarity of our cars in general and the special/unique status of your's in particular.... even mentioned that many of the MM net folks here considered your car as...

Very interesting thread, sure are lotsa smart and talented people on the site. HWY73, congratulations on your retirement and best wishes to SergntMac on his upcoming "Big Day" (and yes Mac, gotta agree, "one hell of a ride") Anyway, was a cop with Miami P.D. for 25 yrs (70-95) and retired...

    Remember vent windows...

I too like the old vent "wing" windows. My 65 Dart GT and 66 Rambler Ambassador HT both have them. The under dash air vents and factory AC on the Rambler are controlled by pull knobs, sliding switches and buttons contained in the chrome plated "Weather Eye" labled control panel. Very sixties...

    Now THIS is a T-R-U-C-K!!!!

That's a BIG one all right. Bagpiper my friend... While the Travelall did come along pretty early-on, I believe some of the earliest all-steel/closed body offerings from Willys and Kaiser Jeep had the basis of the SUV concept before IH.:D

    Interesting trip

After reading Chasrein01's thread on not seeing any other MM's on his recent trip, (didn't want to hijack his post) wanted to post some thoughts bout my trip driving MM from Ft. Lauderdale to Chicago this past weekend. Saw three other MM's, silver on FL turnpike near Orlando; a black one during...
