I was unaware the Marauder was Cobra-Powered, or the SS Monte Carlo was a SC'd 6cyl or the P in DPB stood for Pearly and/or........ Yet another "journalist" who knows how to cut and paste but doesn't actually know how to actually do their job.

    Died while driving

Fixing the battery cable is a good thing regardless of the other issue. I'd put the car up and give the connection points for the fuel pump a good going over. Perhaps a connection came loose.

    Lower front end

If you still have the OEM springs just cut a coil. If the OEM springs have a lot of miles on them perhaps 3/4 of a coil.

    Need new shocks

KYB's were always considered the poor man's Koni's. If they don't leak in the first couple thousand miles, they'll last you a long time.

John Friel, "TooManyFords", has passed away

Have to admit I wasn't prepared for this thread. We last saw John at Carlisle a couple of years ago. He was a great guy to shoot the fat with. He will be missed. Ms.D and I send our deepest sympathies to you and your family.

Any chance you still have the RCM? As I understand it is located on the inside transmission tunnel on the driver's side.

    Headlight Restoration Options?

I tried Mothers wheel polish and got so-so results, but my lens were very yellowed. Yours aren't that bad. As for aftermarket, TYC's seem to work and Depo brand also if you can find them are good choices. Ease of fitment is generally the issue over looks. Light pattern on the aftermarket...
