speaking of "shop manuals" do you know of a haynes or chiltons manual that we could use for basic maintenance jobs for our engines?

does the pipe just pop out or does it take some work? what type of lube do you suggest?

I have a small coolant leak on the cross-over bar ( the metal one behind the alternator...where u fill the system) right where the bar(pipe) goes into the engine. From what i understand its a simple job, has anyone ever changed out these seals and have any words of advice??:confused:

Well today I took another look at the gauge install, tightened down on the ferrel fitting on back of the gauge about a 1/4 turn and I think that solved my wierd boost readings. Now at idle she sits at about 20" of vac, cruising its at anywhere from 18" to 10" of vac and when I punch thats when I...

i'm sure the bypass is working fine, guess now that i got another gauge to watch just wondering if the numbers were normal, no problem with idle or anything noticable, but hey thanks for the help, really appreciate it:D

Well i did the install today but i came directly off the intake, at idle i'm at about 20-25in of vac, while cruising its at 0, the when i punch it the boost will run up to about 10psi... well for all you guys with boost gauges does this seem normal:confused:

Well far as the Gauge install thats no problem, i need to know where to connect the feed from the engine to the gauge??:confused:

Does anyone have any pics of their boost gauge install, just got mine in today, its the autometer ultralite. I just need to know where to tie it in from, does it come off of a vacuum line or something from the intake manifold or closer to the supercharger(vortech)? the rest i can handle, i'll...

Any S/C marauders out there have problem with belt slippage? I mean the belt is only about 2 months old. i only hear it at WOT with the AC on. Can i just adjust the belt tensioner to take care of the problem? If so...how? Or should i just switch it out for a gatorback?:confused:

Has anyone replaced their factory oil gage with the autolite true pressure gage? I'm trying to change mine out and its a %#$@!:mad2: . i'm catching hell just trying to get the center console out. any tips??? Help would be greatly appreciated.
