I'd tend to doubt that. At least about my Marauder. In June/04 I went to the St Thomas Dragway. QWK SVT was there also, with mr auder and others. I have 11 timeslips from that day. I drove about 6 and let others drive 5. The best time from all of us was 15.049. IIRC QWK's best was 15.3 or so...

Thanks for the post! The statistically and mathematically challenged left has been blowing this type of smoke for way too long. Many facts and scientists refute global warming predictions. I think they just want us to all fear the future like they do. :snoopy:

I'd heard at mm.org a while back that June 25 was the last day, and it was confirmed on the day we were touring STAP (June 25). Our afternoon group saw a silver MM at about 2pm. Maybe they drove it down! :burnout:

Thanks everyone for your replies. It was in fact the ignition cylinder. The dealer drilled out the old one and tapped for new one. Covered by the warranty and Ford roadside picked up the tow. :D

I am still under warranty (except the chip!). I had it towed to a shop near my home, thanks to CAA. I am hoping the shop can find the chip and see if it starts. The CAA driver thought it might be the fault of the ignition lock tumblers.

Dead ignition switch, or something like it? I don't know. Can anyone help? The symptoms are: key (both copies) cannot turn the ignition switch warning chime starts when driver door is opened, without key in ignition the wheel feels like it would if you shut the car off in gear batt is good...

I read a while back at mm.org that June 25 was the last build day. Since the STAP tour is that day, we'll find out if that's true.
