I bought my 2003 in July 2003, so have had mine just over 14 years. Original owner and still get comments every time I take it out. I retired it to garage duty last year at 140,000, but still runs and looks like new.

I've had to replace both the oil filter adapter gasket and the valve gaskets, but the oil filter adapter leaked the most and was most noticeable.

Mine popped right out using coat hangars I pulled out of the closet and cut with wire snips:)

Mine did that last month and the dealer diagnosed a bad power steering pump, which fixed the problem. It still worked, but took more effort, like crouse mentioned. It was stiff enough that I couldn't spin the wheel with my palm while turning at low speeds, but on the highway it felt normal.

And it's just as hard to get the clips back in. I was scared to beat on mine, but had to give a sharp hit with the heel of my hand to get it back in. FBM fixed mine about a year ago and still going strong.

Mine did the same thing just a few months ago...hot when the RPM's were up and cold when I slowed or stopped at a light. It was air in the cooling system. There are instructions somewhere on this site for proper burping procedure. I would try that first.

Bought my first car, 1970 Chevelle SS 396 when I was 15. Not practical at all, but very fun:)

Daily driver...my kids have never seen snow :) No need for de-icing or salt. Only used the heater a couple of mornings so far.

I replaced at about 100K. Started out a small leak like you mentioned, but quickly became larger. New gasket and no problems.

Still have the original at 115K. A little noisy also, but works fine for now.
