Thank you all for the well wishes. And, thank you all for 7.5 years of extremely valuable information, comraderie, and total class shown on this web site. It has made owning the Marauder a much better experience than it would have been otherwise. I'm very appreciative. I might stop in once in...

Thank you! I had to choose between the Kona Blue 5.0 and this and took this. Oh well. Good luck with the 5.0! I still love Fords.

I'll say in the small amount of time I've had, the handling is very good. I got the upgraded tire package, Goodyear Eagles and the Super Track Pack handling package.

    Leaving The Collective

Well folks, I've decided it's time to move on. It been a nice 7.5 year run with my DTR since buying it new. I'll be trading it in on a brand new Dodge Challenger R/T tomorrow after work. Only one more day to spend with my MM. Kinda sad but it's time. The odometer reads 99,800. Jon

    Up coming 2012 baseball season

Yes, I'm waiting for baseball. Been a Dodger fan since they got to LA in 1958. Doesn't matter exactly how they do, just like to watch them and great Dodger Stadium. Will catch them when they come through DC this summer.

    Wacky Wipers - Not Successful

I did have the dealer fix it. Turns out the motor and control module were OK but the multi-function switch on the steering wheel was bad. They replaced that and now all seems to be working normally again. Thanks for the suggestions and information. Too bad I am just OUT OF my ESP...

    Wacky Wipers - Not Successful

It looks like I'll be replacing the motor and control module. Do they come separate from Ford - they have separate numbers?

    Wacky Wipers - Not Successful

What connectors? There are 4 large tangs and a bunch of small ones. I don't have any wiring diagrams.

    Wacky Wipers - Not Successful

I got hit by the dreaded wacky wipers problem a week or so ago. The wipers just started on their own and could not be controlled properly or stopped with the multi-function switch. There was no involvement of the lights so I presume it is the wet wiper control module and not the LCM. I...

License Plate Light Socket Damage - Advice?

The actual light housing (that you see from the outside) is fine but the socket that holds the bulb is a little melted. I think the socket is still usable if I clean it up a little. But, of course, putting the same bulb back in will continue the damage. Probably an LED replacement is best...
