Watch out. Had the impeller on two of those separate from the shaft. Beware. Keep your eye on the temp gauge; it's a rather digital event. In fact, I would put a factory pump back on there stat if it was my car.

This "drilling more holes so water drains" thing needs to happen in the cowl box where the wiper motor is too. The flapper door gets clogged with debris and the wiper motor suffers the same fate. Remove the flapper door to solve the problem. No ill effects whatsoever.

I recommend you check your gauge against a known source like a tire pressure gauge or the gauge on your air compressor. I've seen more than a few oil pressure gauges that weren't even close; especially service gauges.

240K miles here. I've had to clean my throttle body about oh...10 times. I use diesel fuel and a nylon gun brush followed by rags. I really doubt it's the bushing, but there's a first for everything.

I find it amazing that Ford would come up with a recall with this much hackery instead of just desoldering/soldering on new relays. Is that really that much harder? Why do they think a talented auto tech can't desolder/solder parts on a PCA but *can* pull off this wiring mess?

If RPM and Fatigue are contributing factors, my oil pan should be full of piston skirts. 230K, WOT'd daily. Maybe it's time to either commit to a rebuild or move on; something is bound to give up soon.
