Been a long run with my Merc, she's at 178,000 miles and still holding on. Had her since 04 when i bought her in florida but since i moved to Virginia she has been through pure hell! Since December 2011, she had an alternator fire, had to replace the starter, power steering pump crapped itself...

Does anyone know where I could find or has the part number for the two idle pillows on the '04 MM? Think the bearings are about to go in one of them so i'll just swap them both out...they have never been changed since I bought the car in 2004:)

I found oil in ALL the sparkplug wells...no weird noises, a little burnt oil smell but other than that she seems just fine.

Recently during changing plugs noticed oil inside the sparkplug well. Removed the plugs but they looked normal and didn't have oil on them from the cylinder side...WHERE IS THIS OIL COMING FROM???:confused:

Think I've tried all the above so far, changed out all plugs and reverified the gap and traced every inch of hoses and vacuum lines...still same result. I plan to get it back down to Dennis this Friday to see whats going on:confused:

Changed out the bypass but still no change, same problems...may have to make a trip to Florida to have Dennis look at it.
