Wanted to say hello to all my friends here, I check the forum a couple of times a year to see the posts. My 04 SB has been gone since like 2012 but of course I wish I still had it, I think it only had 18k miles on it when I sold it and I drive the hell out my new cars now! Driving a 19...

Yeah, at one time we had a pretty active club here in DFW with like 15 active members when we showed up at our car meets in Grapevine. Guess my favorite times were our Maraudervilles I attended in Charlotte, St. Louis and Orlando. Hope all are doing well.

Been a long time since I sold my 04 SB but still have fond memories of our little club. Just wanted to say hey and hope all are doing well.

Thanks for the update Maury and hope you are on the road to full recovery. My Marauder is long gone (so is the Challenger that came afterwards; I'm driving an E350 Mercedes for now) but I still think of our good times over in Grapevine and our Maraudervilles.

Good to hear from you guys too. Sold the Challenger because I never drove it (only had 3k miles on it after a year) and just have the van as a toy now. You all take care. Jim

The absolute best BBQ in Dallas is the Pecan Lodge booth at the Farmers Market (but you have to wait in line). They havethe best brisket I have ever tasted (and has been on Diners/DriveIns/Dives). There is a also local chain called "Baker's Ribs" that I would recommend as well, they have 4 or 5...

I always dug those little Fairlanes and Cyclones.

Sad news to be sure. That said, nobody gets out of this alive, make sure and take to time to smell the roses.

I know what you mean but not everyone can afford a couple of cars and a classic to play with. I think those guys with new Mustangs are proud of their cars (and its no sweat off my bollocks.)
