In Memoriam of "Big Dog" Jim Kelly.

He drove up from South Jersey with his Marauder and his ever-present co-pilot,Garfield, to join Mr. Man and me at our local cruise night several years ago. I think Off Roadkarter (Ryan) and Crabby Patty were also there that night. Another great memory is when Jim loaned me his car so I could drive on the Indianapolis Speedway because Mr. Man was driving my SB. Bigger than life in every way, ("living large and loving life" comes to mind) that was Big Dog Jim. We lost touch the last couple of years. I understand he had moved to northern California. Yep Will and I were at that show, I remember talking with Jim standing in line at the Wendys.

I was at Jim's house a couple of years ago not long after he sold the Marauder, picking up a trunk organizer and some Marauder dealership documents as well.

Crappy news, he was always fun to chat with at all the meets.
 
Damn man. I'll always remember the time at MM3 that Jet's trans blew up and BigDog gave Jet and I a lift back home. Really kind thing for him to do since it was out of the way.
We annoyed him with Team America quotes the whole way home lol.
 
Don't know if anyone saw that Rich Long Jr. passed away a day or two ago. Was posted on facebook by Chuck Mikulski.

On MM.net he was known as "O's Fan Rich". Although there were no recent posts, he was a member of MM.net since 9/2002.

He will be missed.

Unbelievable.
We had so many good times together.

I hadn't spoken to Rich as much as in the 'old days', as he had moved to FLA.

I'm not on any of the social media crap...
Can someone give me any more information?

Wow... I was just thinking about Rich. I met him a couple times at carfixers house after he moved to Florida. He was a stand up member of the Marauder and later, the Crown Vic community.

Met Rich a couple times at CAM meets. Another commanding presence. Sorry to hear of his passing. :(
