JAM Sunday October 21, 2018 End of the year lunch/dinner meetup

That's good news, Bill! We're bringing both Marauders (JPB and SB) for their last romp of the season. Then time to put them up for the winter. See you in a few.....

We had such a great time at our JAM meet at Texas LongHorn today. Food was very good, waiter was phenomenal and the company was the best! We had a group of 10; Buickman & Rosemary, Fat Bastid & Valerie, Jsignorelli & Joanne, PRCAR GUY & Les and Mr. Man & Ms.D. There were 2 SB, 2 JPB, 1 DTR and 1 Explorer. Thanks everyone, for coming and we'll see you all next time!

Tee shirts are getting loose in the sleeves since retirement, need to start pumpin iron again to get the pythons back.

Sorry I couldn't make it. Have a lot of stuff to get caught up on before snow flies. Hope everyone had a great time.
Maybe I'll get my sh.t together by next year.

Joanne and I had a great time at lunch. The Longhorn was a great selection.
Please tell Eric that I have a book for him to read.
The book is titled: "Why nothing can go faster than the speed of light"
It was written by one of my grad students (Dave Zimmerman)

We have to do outings like this more often, just to keep our friends close.

While gravitons are presumed to be massless, they would still carry energy, as does any other quantum particle. Photon energy and gluon energy are also carried by massless particles. It is unclear which variables might determine graviton energy, the amount of energy carried by a single graviton.

If my theory is correct then you need to get a movin' on a machine that can convert said energy into engines that can achieve Warp. Good luck Jim.

Technically, we already have such an engine. Plasma drive rockets, such as we use to reach the outer limits of our solar system, achieve extreme velocities, although very slowly. As their speed increases, so does their mass (thanks to E=MC^2)

As mass increases, the warping of space around the increased mass also increases. Just go fast enough, and you'll reach warp speed, curve space, and enter a dimension where time either stands still.......or goes backward!
