broke but not dead!
I had the occasion to pull up next to A NEW BLACK M5 yesterday.
He was resting in the left turn lane as I pulled next to him with the windows down.
I had a female guest in the car with me and I thought how cool would it be, if I could get him to mat his go pedal with me.
Since this was not possible, he was turning , I was content to look his direction and give a friendly nod and smile.
Must be something to own the Ultimate driving machine, as he was looking at me like I was invisible, no return nod?
I leaned for the "push here for fun button" seconds later, he got a taste of what it would be like if we were both going the same direction!

I have no idea if I would have had him but He would have to bring his A game to the table:lol:

That is typical for driver's of overpriced foreign cars....:rolleyes:

Glad that you reminded him of the fact that there are some nice (and fast) American cars out there!.....:beer:
 
most of em are like that very few that are not
would have been niCe to hand it to him
the younger guys in the foriens like to play somtimes though
 
Can't recall if the M-5 uses the V-10 or not but I'd estimate he was in the 500-550 hp range. Would have been interesting though.
 
09's back to 06 (E 60 Series) are 500 hp V-10's...... We get em off the line, but up top they scream..... That is when you find one that will actually use what he has.......:burnout:

The new ones coming will be a Bi Turbo V-8 w/550hp btw.
 
I ran with a newer white BMW M5 about two months ago coming back from six flags on I94. The guy looks over smiles and gives me a thumbs up when I went to pass him once we were both at higher speeds. Not all of them are douchebags, I wouldn't if I owned a car like that.
