Laugh it up... with the US dollar dropping faster than GM stock values, I'm thinking I should have just bought and imported a used Marauder from the US!

If you're interested, mine has had so many parts replaced, it might just be the newest 54,000 mile MM on the planet!

Absolutely nuts...

I never could figure out the cost difference between the models, even taking exchange into it.

But then again, we didn't buy them from an investment perspective, did we? ;) :burn:

Kennyrauder, has a 2003 Mercury Marauder & may part with it for the right price (US) of course. The car is pristine with 30,000 KM which works out to 24,000miles. I had a Reinhart Stage 1 installed in September with the Vortech 9 psi boost. Dennis had to detune the Marauder a touch due to unavailability of 93 octane in Northern Ontario Canada. It dyno'd at 390 RWHP&382 Foot pounds of tourque. When I got back home the car picked up at least 20 HP as the air here is so cool. The Marauder comes with another year of warranty plus I had taken the extended warranty also 2 -100 KM which is fully transferable. The vehicle has been impeccabely serviced & never raced. All oil changes are done every 3 months with Mobile1 full synthetic. It is also rust proofed & rust checked. New summer rear tires & Bridgestone winters(4) on steel rims. It also has upgraded front & rear sway bars as well as spare plugs & 2 serpentine belts. It pulls like a train yet delivers at least 4 to 6 miles to the Canadian gallon better than before the Reinhart extreme make over. I really love this car but I,m thinking of a f-150. If anyone is interested call me on my cell 705-266-0788. It really would be a great stocking stuffer. There are no surprises here just a great super charged car. Call Dennis Reinhart for a referall.

Yea, I got the impression they were fleet vehicles of some sort. 2 year lease. Probabally corporate type, because they are low km (~20k) and all seem to need new back tires that they can seem to get.

Only 3 DTR's!! I know there is one in Edmonton, one supposedly in Calgary. I wonder where the third is?

Ohhh! He wants to get playful! No, it's more like $37,000USD. And be careful with that joke. It's a delicate antique.
OAkville /Gta Iwas talking to the elder gent..who was really proud
about being the only one with the sunroof..Majority where black the three other colours
where only by special order..they are few and far between..
MSRP 45,000cad or 55,300 with all the taxes.
Most dealers don't even Know there where any other colours..

Was that a Red one??? That could be #3!!

Yea, I wanted Blue when I bought mine. The dealer, who had 3 black, said blue wasn't available, that the website was wrong. :(

Ahh, well. I've seen the blue, and love it, but I still love my black.

think thats what im gonna end up doing. i was really excited to find one locally jsut to relive all the head ache of importation fees (taxes at the line, provincial inspection, etc etc etc... plus depending on where it is, may not even see the car till i get it to my front door). theres one in washington asking 19250 US i might check out soon.

Finding a Canadian '04 is like finding a Rita MacNeil fan... Probably out there, but damned if you can find one :D

Not that rare! Two of us in the SVTOA Toronto club have 04's. The other guy works at the St.Thomas Ford plant:)
