As many of you know, I sold my '04 Marauder in 2012 to buy a home. Due to circumstances I was able to buy it back four years later with about 2700 more miles added. At this point I was able to add a supercharger but because the one I wanted is no longer manufactured, I have decided to wait. I went through the whole car and made everything perfect again. This weekend I plugged my Xcal2 in and decided to go through the tuning. I can't lie, I don't know the first thing about tuning but I used mine to adjust for the gears, raise the idle to accommodate for the UD pulley and I really, REALLY wanted a way firmer upshift. Mine are at the max 25% settings and I'd like them firmer. I was out of the loop for four years and definitely missed a lot of updates and upgrades. Is there a better tuner than the one I have? I am still stock with the exception of some bolt-ons (I blew my money on the sound system) but would like firmer upshifts. Not radically uncomfortable but enough to grab your attention. I never drive at WOT but the occasional 'chirp' upshift would make a happy me. There is definitely a need for a tune on these cars or you'll wind up in overdrive before you make it through the intersection.
