LOL! I collect Hess trucks! I have them all the way back to the 80's. It is a family tradition that I am trying to keep in motion after my grandfather's passing. He used to always get me a Hess truck for Christmas. Apparently they stole the loader that was supposed to go in the back of the truck. I didn't know thugs were capable of operating heavy machinery!

We have a lot in common then. I have quite the collection as well, I have from 1976-present including the mini's all stored in a steel water proof trunk in my closet.
The loader wasn't around, I guess that fell out when they removed the tailgate. :D

LOL! I guess so! Mine are on display unfortunately some of them are starting to yellow a little bit where they are supposed to be white. The ones I had as a kid, some are in rough shape because I played with them. I only collected the ones that were that size, none of the smaller ones. I have from the mid 80's up to the present. I loved 2010's. That is on display on my coffee table in my apt with the jet in the "launch" position.

Im the insane guy that removes the batteries and left them in the box with the original Hess bag that comes with each truck.
For some reason I skipped on the 2010. I have no idea why. I do have the latest mini that came out a week ago though. Ill take a pic of my collection.

I think every time either you or I went to get it they were out of stock. I remember going to the Hess station 2x for it.

Looks like you have a supportive mrs of your habit. My girlfriend made fun of it until I told her why I keep getting them and she understood. She better get used to it! As long as I am alive there will be one more added to the collection for each year!

Well I made a deal that Ill tolerate the shoe store I have going on in my closet. ;)
I also have a lot of 80s transformers sitting in a glass case and a original Voltron.

OK. You are starting to go to nerd town on me here! haha. I just collect Hess trucks! haha. I also have quite a few 1:18 scale diecasts. Can't forget the big azz remote controlled ladder truck that squirts water and everything. haha.
