very nice car, just a matter of the right buyer finding it! $17k would be where i stand
 
This is really crazy!!!! I got a call this morning about a job I had applied for. "It looks like" I may have the job!! I may, just may be able to keep it if all goes well. I'll tell ya! It's been a ruff year.

Thanks again guys! I knew if I made a video for this site I would get honest answers. You guys ROCK!

If I keep it, I'll let you know ASAP. I'll take the CL ad down soon, so the photos won't be around long.

I hope it works out that you can keep the car. It seemed in the video that you were quite attached to it.
 
I'd say start at $20k for the regular folk, and if you want it to stay in the mm family, $17k for a member here. I know there are people out there dying to have a marauder in that condition and you will find someone eventually to grab it for 20 if you are in no rush.
 
I pulled the ad on CL so I don't miss-lead anyone until my decision has been made. Thanks for all the nice comments! :beer:

:mad2:Sorry guys! The pressure of making the house payment is too intense. The job is still going through the process with physical next Tuesday.

I posted it last night on eBay. Please don’t get shocked at the BIN price. I took all of your advice on the appraisals, averaged them and set the reserve just above the middle. Like a few said, "you can aways go down"

I want to thank you all for all your honest replies and the time you took to help me! :wave:

This car is awesome. I went to look at it this past Saturday and I was totally impressed. Everything about this car is clean and it was babied. The tires are original and still look brand new. By the time I had 17,000 on my 2004 DTR I think I was on my third set of rears. The pics he shows do not show the true condition of this fine automobile. This has to be one of the nicest surviving Maruaders left!!!!!!!!!! I am bidding on this car on ebay. Should be fun!!!!
 
Hi Jetmo, your car looks MINT and I wouldn't be too worried about the "blemishes" you have pointed out.

I'm wondering how much you bought the car cover for? I think I'm looking at yours on eBay and do you had a cover with "Marauder" lettering on it included with the car?

I bought the car cover at california car cover. just google it.

I can't remember what cover it was but the having the letters sewed on was and extra expence. I think I paid close to $400.00 for it.

No it didn't, it didn't reach my reserve. The reserve was a good and fair price for this car but everyone wants to buy low and turn it for quick profit. I'm in no hurry to give the car away. I know what I have.

I knew it wouldn't sell early in my eBay add because no one asked any questions. Haha, they never even inquired about the reserve,

I'm fine with the fact it didn't sell. no worries on my end. I may try again later, maybe!
