Price of OEM, Ford/Mercury, Bumper Cover?

What prices have all of you seen for the purchase of a replacement rear bumper cover?

Just wondering if I should stock up: Here In Southern NJ where tailgaiting is "the norm".

I was searching the Internet and see $400 for a rear bumper.

I'm being quoted $1300 ea.

Is this a good deal?

I bought mine for just under $1,000 mid last year when it was still available. These NOS seem to be going well over $1,000

A OEM rear bumper for 400.00:shake: Id beleive that when it showed up at my house in a Ford box. See what RoyL qouted list at? Not to mention out of production. I know there are some out there but 400:confused:

If it's an OEM and it's new, and you can get it for that price; I'd grab it, and QUICK!
 
they are obsolete, new ones are not made anymore, a lot of the oem ones are refurbished, be careful on what youre buying
 
Its so expensive cause it says Marauder on it ,Ford should be ashamed to sell at this price. Probably about $ 150 worth for them to make this bumper guess they need to make a profit,and a big one at that !
