What did you do to your car today?

Used my Marauder's trunk (along with a U-Haul truck & an early 80's M-B 300SD) to help out a friend move to another apartment yesterday, & in the process drove 330+ miles & had some free Cuban food in Charlotte, NC. :food:

Figured out that the new reservoir I bought for my washer fluid will fit and look bada$$ too.
Tomorrow it's mock it up then t the powder coater Monday.

Cool, what you doin'? Post pics, pleaze. :D

My OEM WW tank turned into a methanol tank this spring. After a couple of short road trips I find I miss my washers, methanol and paint don't play well together.

Got it mocked up and painted today, (yes paint, time is short for SSHS among other things) waiting for a new pump and I'll do pics.

Meanwhile, took the interior out and re-routed all the pre-amp and speaker wires hoping to get rid of the occasional alternator whine.

In High School, a friend of mine converted his WW tank into a "Car Bar":

Cleaned the tank, routed the hose to under the dash and filed it with JD.

Hit the washer and fill the glass.

It's still a miracle that I lived through High School.............

 that might be the greatest idea ever!!!!

Changed both lower ball joints and both stabilizer bar end links. One ball joint had play, one end link was broken.

Tried but failed to replace the drivers side wheel hub. I couldn't get the damn thing off! Soaked it with a penetrating oil for over an hour and still nothing.

Thread the bolts back in about half way.
Put an impact socket on the head of the bolt and use a BFH and work your way around from bolt to bolt to break it loose.
When you get a gap showing you can start working it out w/prybar.
I just did both of mine that way!

Also, for penetarting oil -try PB Blaster if you can get it.

Cleaned the engine & vacuumed the trunk area for the first time (neither were too bad to begin with.), washed & waxed the exterior, & vacuumed the interior. All that is left to do is to clean & condition the leather seats & I'm done.

There isn't a lot of room to swing a bfh. I did try this, but only on the one bolt that was easiest to reach.
But thanks for the info - now I know it works. I'll try harder next time :)

Removed my window tint. I have been pulled over 3 times. It was supposedly legal percentage but the ticket I got sez different. :mad2:

Replaced my gauge cluster and my tach works now!!
But the speedometer is off by 6 miles an hour and stuck twice in 20 miles once at 60 and once at 80...:mad2:

Relocated my Methanol indicator lights so I can see them when it matters :burn:

Found where somebody scuffed my front bumper last time I was out. NON car people SUCK!!!!
