Lookin sharp!

Did you completely remove the OEM steering wheel badge before you put on your new steering wheel badge from Daniel?

If so, how did you do it & was it difficult to do?

I read somewhere that there are 2 rivets holding in the OEM that need to be pried out.

Kinda makes me shaky if I plan to do this mod..

Please let me know. Thanks in advance!

First I have to thank Mr. Man, he walked me through it.

you could do it in place, but I chose to remove the airbag so that I could see what I was doing when I ground down the OEM emblem support(rubber star looking thing)

Here is the abridged version:

1. Pry off the old emblem with two straight blade screwdrivers.

2. Grind down the rubber emblem support.

3. Peel and stick the emblem.

Before you start make sure you disconnect the battery, so you don't have to listen to the horn, if you remove the airbag wait approximately 30 minutes to make sure th airbag is fully deactivated. If you need more help PM me, but it's pretty straight forward.

Mahalo for the shortend version.

I want to do it your's & Mr. Man's way so it looks OEM.

I'll check with my mechanic & see if he wants to tackle the task.

I think just sticking the emblem over the OEM will not look right and I know I'm not going to be able to get sleep....

Your install of the badge and gauges looks great, Derek! Daniel's (Colex) custom steering wheel badge looks perfectly OEM when installed as you (and Mr. Man) have done. Nice job!
