I didn't really see it as complaining Dom, I actually kind of agree with you. I appreciate Trailered cars as much as Daily Drivers, for a MM of the month, I'd want to choose it based on the story behind it. How it came to be, stories of the driver and the car

In other words I love sleeping with beautiful women, but the woman I marry is the one I can talk to about everything. It's her character, her giving nature, her ability to call me on my bs.

It's nice to sleep with a gorgeous stripper, but that's not who you marry.

Point being, Paul Casey had one beautiful car, 250k plus mileage, most done a quarter mile at a time. Knowing the man Paul was, and the story of his car is appealing.

It may not be a show winner with trophies and platforms to roll on, but that car had a history, a legacy, and it had Character

That's a Marauder of the month

Don't think we should base it on photos and mods, and it shouldn't be a competition, but rather each month, lets feature a members car and their story

Now to step off the soap box and return to obscurity

what PonyUP said in his post should be looked at just like that for the next contest winner he hit nail on the head .There is a story behind evert man/women and there car and life . Let's hear it for next car picked .

Screw that, they are bad lays. They don't move. I lucked out when I got married though. ;)

Back to your Marauder related postings, I think we share the same point of view. A car should be voted by character, not by looks alone. Now that you mention it I think Pauls car should be the first car of the month. 250,000 miles and burnouts all across the country?!?! A car like that would have my vote in a second. I will stay off my trailer car rant, but only broken cars should be towed in my eyes.

This is why I said each month should have a theme for the photo. One day it can be by a bridge, sunset.... burnout? This would keep it fresh and the car of the month would probably have to be out that month for the photo theme, maybe not, but at least we could have something to be creative with each month instead of random pictures. I know not everyone shares the same view, but it's just a suggestion.

This is the first month anyway and it's testing the waters. I didn't even expect to be ahead of anyone because of how dirty my car is. It's fun, but it's what I expected. Car's that win best of show do not have triple digit miles unless it was a frame off restore.

As Ms. Denmark said, any Marauder is eye candy.
 
If this is done every month then all the winners could be put into a calender and sold the following year. Have it run from November to November so as to have enough time to get them made for the following year.
 
You could either have the pic put on your birthday, the Marauders birthday or when you bought it or just in the month you won. As long as it could be worked out were everyones happy.
