Car Show July 6

One of our local car clubs, Golden Gears, is having their big show on Saturday, July 6th. There are Top 40 trophies and club participation. I would like to see if we can get a good showing and hopefully earn the club participation award!

Time: 9 am - 4 pm
Location: Harry Grove Stadium Frederick MD

Afterward, we will have a cookout over at our house.

Booked our pet sitter and booked a room in Martinsburg, WV for July 5 & 6! (Our usual Hampton Inn is sold out so hope this location is good. It's a holiday weekend plus the 150 anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg) Let us know what we can bring to the cook out. We'll bring my SB and look forward to seeing you guys!

I wasn't thinking how that weekend would be challenging for hotels and that the rates could be higher. Doh!

Currently the Spring Hill Suites by Marriott has rooms available for $169 a night. Ouch that is pricey. So I don't know if Martinsburg will be cheaper. They said in July they are changing to a hot breakfast menu so it sounds a lot like the Hampton.

We did OK on the hotel rate. You know us being from Jersey, we gotta guy.......;)
 
My work schedule looks good, So it looks like i can make the trip.

Do i need a hotel room or just pass out after the party

Get a hotel room at the Hampton's in Martinsburg, WV. It looks to be about a 30 minute ride from Chris & Gordon's. Call me if you want more info. BUT DON"T WAIT BECAUSE IT"S THE 150TH ANNIVERSARY OF GETTYSBURG !!!!!

We stopped by the local cruise in this evening with the Mustang and talked to the guys holding the show. I mentioned that a bunch of us would be coming, so be prepared!
