What did you do to your car today?

Had the Marauder washed by hand every week since the new paint job on it & now am officially considering this method the ONLY WAY to wash it instead of the automated soft touch car washes I used before. {even though the original paint job had its problems.}

Solid. I suggest to everyone to run a wideband!

Finished installing the new cluster on my 64 Galaxie. Reinstalled the bucket seat. (Damn bucket ain't light weight.) Gauges, lights, etc work great. Dash looks brand new.

The bad.

Speedo is all over the place. Bounces from 0-20, 0-40, never stays steady.

Now, I have to figure out what I did wrong.

I'll be 71 in January. Crawling under a car's dash is definitely not on my "bucket list".

I recieve the Marauder 80mm Maf from Marauderer CROWNVIC05 mang ( Thank you mang ) so I have the complete NA induction kit which includes the following.
1-Police Interceptor "ziptube"
2-K&N marauder airfilter
3-Marauder airbox & Maf 80mm
4-2010 police interceptor driveshaft
5-police interceptor driveshaft spacer

additional I hand washed my Panther to keep it clean and shinning plus vaccum the interiors and odorized more of this updated in my dedicated thread of my Panther BP74 Interceptor. :banana2: :burnout:

Drove it to Lowes today to get some fittings to hook up new grill. Did 3/4 throttle runs from 3 stop signs & broke tires loose when hit 2nd gear all 3 times. Smiles per mile! :D :burnout: :D

Well, this is more than just today, but recently I...

Had the car stripped to bare metal and repainted (original black, looks great; to cure the rust bubbles/bad primer)
Had an OEM rear spoiler painted and mounted (got tired of the box it came in sitting in my bedroom for the last couple years...)
Had them install the beautiful new Marauder-Supercharged rear emblem from Daniel (thanks again) and its beautiful, too
Got it detailed after the paint finished drying
Turned over 50,000 miles (all supercharged fun)
Got 23.3 mpg at 70-75 mph on a two lane highway with lots of passing (90+)
Got 22.2 at 80+ mph
(not bad for 4.10 gears putting 400 lb-ft to the rear wheels)
Enjoyed watching 6 or 7 employees at a time at the local Ford dealer surround the car with their cell phones out taking pictures of the car...

DAYUM I LOVE THIS CAR!!!
STILL.

Yesterday, got 14 hours of seat time in it.
Atlanta to the lower florida Keys.

Lost 2-3 mpg on way home. I will have to dig into that.
I can hear a whistling sound under the hood at around 2000 rpm under load only. Coasting in cruise control it is silent, as soon as my vacuum gauge starts heading towards 0 it starts whistling.

Looked for anything obvious (loose hoses, clamps etc.) on the way down.
Didn't find anything.

Woke up, looked outside and saw rain...walked right by her sitting all pretty in the garage. A few minutes ago it started snowing like crazy...need to top the tank off and add some Star Tron...night night till spring...:sleepy::bigcry::depress:

pulled the chip (Diablosport) so I can pass the Drive Clean test. Computers can't talk with the chip in. Car will not run as well so it can pass.
