How big's your garage?

I have two boys and both into cars. My oldest is always in my fairmont playing inside when I am in the garage. He told my wife yesterday that he is going to drive daddy's black mustang when he gets older!!

Mine boys said the same thing, lol! Except, I bought them a white 92 4cyl Fox convertible (no V8, you know how 16yr old boys get rated on insurance ). We've had some fun dressing it up like a special edition vert (it's white on white). They both have driven the Marauder and love it. However, they really want to drive the 86 GT, but I am not about to teach them how to drive a stick shift with that car!

It will be hard to not let them have a sports car for their first car. Mine was a 89 Mustang GT 5spd. My dad gave me a loan with interest and I paid the insurance. I remember being 16 very well, it was 1994, I had my mustang and my dad bought him a new Z28 and mom an Impala SS for christmas. And I was able to drive them all.

That's a nice selection! But, wait until you see the insurance ratings for teenage boys! We have 2 teens and a college student now on the insurance. Cheaper the better... Can you say choking off the Eaton Swap!:(

My garage is way too small. I can barely fit the Edge, the Mustang, and my mini-bike. I'm exaggerating a little but not much. My Merc won't even fit in it lengthwise lmao and the Exploder stays outside.

We have a couple acres of land so plenty of land to build more garages, we have at least 3 more bays planned, I'm trying to double up and try and do 6 bays (3 bays, 2 deep) lol. I also want some living space up above and a 200 amp electrical service and plumbing/drainage etc.

The garage at my house is 4000 square feet, 40 x 100, with two 9x9 doors and one 8x8 door.

The garage for my work is 3000 square feet, 50 x 60, with two 10x12 doors and one 12x12 door.

My shop at home is 24x30 (all my wife would allow as she had plans for a garden when we bought the place). I put wood stakes in to show her the footprint before I built it, and after she said ok I bumped them out a couple feet in every direction. She still thinks its 20x26.

It houses my '30 Ford sedan, my dirty homemade hardtail, my gun shop and all the other stuff I've accumulated in the 10 yrs we've lived here. My old 4Runner is no longer an issue as I sold it on Thursday (I'm gonna regret that in a couple days or so) but its busting at the seams.

I recently signed a lease on a new yard, office, and shop for work so soon I'll have a 50x80 haven for my toys. Its a work in progress, the landlord is telling me the electrical and mechanical will be done by fall. I really hope so, my home shop isn't really big enough to house much. My plan is to move all the car/bike related stuff to the new joint and keep the home shop strictly for gunsmithing.

I'm getting tired of stepping over piles of stuff to get across my shop, and the Marauder needs a roof over its head for the winter. It was parked outside all last winter and I feel shame for that as it was garage kept since new before I bought it.
