I think there are two issues in play:
1) At 10-12 years old, these cars are at the age that even if you did every maintenance scheduled in the book--they probably still need some money put into them to keep them sweet-- and many people would rather spend that same money on a brand new vehicle
2) They are at the age in the value/age matrix where their absolute value is probably at it's lowest i.e. too young to be a classic "collector car", and too old to be technologically current.
Not insulting my/your/our MM's -- merely pointing out that this is probably the wrong time to sell an MM, and perhaps nearly the right time to buy a low mile nearly perfect Marauder (if your plan is to fix and keep them for ten plus years).
I know I came in late, bought a little too early, and paid a little too much. My plan is to trick them both out over the next ten years, when/where each car will have sub 20,000-40,000 miles, and then I will drive them - smiling like a crazyman - until I die.
I still need two Vortech kits... LOL... but they will come my way!
