Marauder separation is in the midst

I second the Lincoln MKS w/ Ecoboost.
My current is a 2011. It is certified. Purchased it in May for under $30k.
4 Year 50,000 warranty just expired. It is certified for 6/100K.
I get between 18-24 MPG.

I guarantee you won't have strangers coming up to you to comment about your Dodge when it has 100K miles, like I get all the time with my Marauder. I have 123K and it still looks like new. Just this weekend, I was eating out, sitting close to a window to watch my baby, and saw a guy putting his family into the car beside mine. I noticed him giving it the eye, but when he had seated his daughter, he walked slowly around my car, just soaking it up. People talk to me all the time about this 12 year old car, like no other car I ever owned and I've had quite a few in my life. I let my wife get the new car - win/win b/c I get to drive both, but she doesn't drive the Merc:)

DITTO- DITTO- "BRAVO" / The Ole lady gets a new Dodge and I will continue to drive my sho winner Marauder with 148,000 miles and continue to Drive and Restore Classic lincoln Continentals as well.:bows:

My Marauder is a one owner car (me) and I can't ever imagine selling it. I still get compliments from time to time.

Well guys I bit the bullet and sold the Marauder. I'm now a proud owner of a one owner 2011 Dodge Charger R/T with 35,000 miles with wheel and tune package. It is sharp. Pics coming soon.
no shame in your descision - your cars.
Please post pics - grey is my fav color!
I'll be going 2012+ to get the full tail lights and body sculpture, but that's my taste. congrats!

Good for you! i would never look back , post some pics!

I plan on having another one eventually, but at the moment having it for an everyday driver and not having the time or money for down time to do the things I wanted to inprove it and keep it up just wasn't feasible. I sold it to a guy that is an avid car enthusiast and always wanted a Marauder. So it went to a good home to someone that can do what I wasn't able to do at this time. My next one will be supercharged though. :burnout:

I couldn't agree more. I love my MM but I'm having a bunch of little glitches here and there and it's by far the most dependable car I've owned but I really want to upgrade to a newer car and nothing from Ford. Imo the RT is the best bang for the buck and it's one of the only few new sedans that turn heads and has that badass factor all in one affordable and economical daily driving package. Responds well to mods from Mopar and can still be suitable for daily use with a warranty. I always wanted to supercharge my MM but at 165k of daily driving and other expenses at hand it brings a sad reality. I would get another MM someday but one that's already SC and it most certainly wouldn't be a DD.

Yeah I'll post some soon when it warms up a bit. 11-14 are all the body style you speak of.

 mopar modness is already on my mind. haha!

Some guy a few pages back said "how about a Caddy El miraj" after you clearly said a new SS is out of your price league lol. The El Miraj going to be higher priced than the Escalade since it's going to be a flagship sedan.

Mopar FTW:beer:

I'll keep my new RT when I buy it later this year til I can get a Hellcat in the next 4 years.

There's my new ride. I love it. Let the modness begin. Haha! I just put my new weathertech floorliners in. It's nice to finally have a set. Next I'll be tinting it out and blackening the grille and adding cold air intake and Flowmasters :coolman:

Nice. Yeah I'm gonna be R/T'ing my grille soon and the exhaust doesn't sound bad on mine but I want more so I decided to get Pypes Violators. It will only give about 18/20 HP but it's gonna sound B.A.

Too bad there' s one at every stoplight, This is a Marauder site, there are plenty of charger chats out there, lets put this thread to bed

I test drove an '12 with Flowmaster cat back - sounded way better than stock. search youtube for charger flowmaster for sound difference.
That same car had a full Eibach suspension kit - it was a bit lowered but handled excellent, rode about like the stock one.
they respond well to mods.

I saw that one. It did sound good. I was listening to Flowmasters products and Pypes and I found that I like the Pypes Violator system. That's the one I'm gonna get. A lot of people with Chargers complain about bad drone with the flowmaster. Pypes has some complaints but most of the reviews were good and I really like the sound of them. As far as height. I'm gonna keep mine the height it is. I don't care to sit low.

Well mine just decided to quit starting due to the horrible cold weather and I'm forced to drive my truck and pay dearly for gas. This thread + situation is making me really consider my options. I want a 2015 but I don't have enough saved up and now I'm wondering if its feasible to trade the Marauder in before I put any more miles on it. I love my car but I'm seeing more and more cool things being done with Mopar products and the fact that they're better suited for DD use. I'm open to 11-14 but they really are expensive used so new isn't much different in price at least my area. I love that color too. Granite Grey and Black Crystal are my top choices. Can't wait for you to post more pics.
