Any '69 gurus here?

The wheels that are on the car (and I assume the correct OEM wheel) have trim rings. The repro wheels I've found have a solid chrome rim, no trim rings.

I'll get some better pictures when I get the car back. I'm almost certain that the center caps have the CS Carroll Shelby logo on them. Other pictures I've seen of '69 Marauders have the God's Head logo on the center caps.

Ya, neither of those is correct.

Here's a better shot of the center cap. I know it's not correct, but these look like OEM wheels. Possibly off a Mustang from the same era? The new repro wheels do not have a trim ring.

Those caps work better than no cap at all. I think your trim rings are likely replacements also. I only know this because I've been looking for a ring and cap for the one wheel I have. I believe the trim rings you have are actually for a 1990 F150 (same as I currently have on my wheel). The difference? I don't think the correct trim ring has the "step" on the outer surface, but is flat instead.

That's a nice looking Marauder! I had an X-100 for a few years several years back. Very fun to drive!
As kirk said those are not the correct caps, but the correct ones are extremely difficult to find and big money if you do. The ones you have look good though. I have to agree with kirk about the skirts, you will definitely regret letting them go. I never thought the wheel well cutout on the '69 and '70 Marauders looked quite right unless the skirt was on, but that's just my $0.02.

I think this is the correct set up.
