What did you do to your car today?

Pulled the trans to diagnose no OD....

Currently have a blown head gasket, car has been sitting because it's been so cold and I've been busy. Today I finally got around to installing my new trans plate that has been drilled along with a couple valves from sonnax in the valve body that I swapped in.

At least it will shift nice while limping it to get the head gasket knocked out...

Also put the battery on the tender since it died from sitting for 2 months.

Plan is to be driving it again some time in January.

Started taking apart the parts car. Found out it has heated seats and a CD changer.

Is it safe to even start your engine w/ a known "blown head gasket" 376shovel?

Seems like a huge risk IMO!

Installed my new Weathertech floor matts into my CVSport, and had new Severe Duty rear shocks/struts installed.

Also Ordered new anthracite carbon fiber wrap, to cover my faux wood trim.

Then I Pulled Silver MM out of storage, warmed it up, and took it out for a spin. Scared the sheet out of myself... OMG what a car!

I hear ya. Its busted between 5-6 cylinder. It is not broken into a cooling jacket or to the outside. Basically the car just runs a little rough and is down compression on those two cylinders. 120-130 compared to 180 on everything else

Got ya' 376shovel. If you can have it towed I'd still suggest that; if that's not an option, baby it all the way, keep the RPM's as low as possible and drive w/ your flashers on. :)

Stopped by the shop that has mine to check progress. Hoping to have it back in the next few weeks. Heads are getting pulled and rebuilt as well as all new timing components. Someone decided Thanksgiving day they wanted the car more than me. Was gone for 10 days and they ran the crap out of it. Compression down on two cylinders and was barely running when we found it.

Yep right out of my driveway Thanksgiving day. Was a rough 10 days while it was gone. Luckily was found in an apartment complex on the other side of town. No body damage thankfully and all my blower swap parts were still in the trunk. They didn't even touch the stereo stuff I had in the car.

Well, was technically yesterday but went with my brother to look at and ultimately pick up his early birthday present. Happy birthday and welcome to the Panther family.

Dropped the insurance check off to the shop this weekend so work can finally start. Heads will be off this week so we can see what the damage is and check put the short block. Heads will both be rebuilt and all new timing components will be replaced
