Smoke From Dash

While driving home today, had a slight plume of smoke rising at defrost vent just left of center. Gonna have to pull front console out. I did have a mouse nest in the glove box a few years ago, hope they didn't chew wires. I didn't see wires chewed around the glove box originally. If anyone else experienced smoke, please post, may save me troubleshooting time. Thx

More like circuit board, but not sure what Ford burning harnesses smell like yet...

FIXED, my bad, a wire tap I put on the brake BOO switch wire apparently reduced the gauge of the factory wire when pinched and decided to get warm and melt the tap. Time to pull out the soldering iron and correct this and other higher current taps I put in for remote start.
