Hello Everyone! My name is Kris Swanson and I can admit that I have a lead foot........

Sorry wrong group.....

Anyway, We (my family and I) just purchased a 2004 Black MM with Dark Charcoal interior and we couldn't be happier. We found a great deal. The car had only 19,700 miles on it and we got it for $20,000 (I thought that was a good deal). Carfax came back with one owner and no bad reports. I bought it from a dealer so I wasn't able to find out if the previous owner added any mods, but the dealer put on 4 new tires. At first I was concerned about why it needed new tires, until I read a post here about how MM's go through them if not properly maintained. I did find a K&N air filter in the air box and Megs exhaust tips. I plan on giving the car a better look over when I get an oppertunity.

I found this site last week and in that time I have found out so much about MM's, parts, mods, etc. I don't know if I will be doing much on the car this year, but I would like to think that right before summer '08 I will give the car some performance add on. I plan on watching the upcoming events, too. Maybe we can make it out to one soon.

Kris, welcome :welcome1: to the MM.Net and the CAM region. Lotsa good folks in the Capitol Area Marauders. Keep your eye peeled for announcements of CAM get-togethers. Sometimes we meet at The Redbrick Station on the Avenue in White Marsh. You just missed Marauderville V (MV5) in Hagerstown, MD during the first week of August. That was our 5th national gathering and folks came from all over to be there .... MD, VA, DC, DE, NJ, PA, NY, MA, OH, MI, MO, TX, TN, KY, LA, NC, SC, and FL were represented at MV5.

BTW-Those Megs tips are standard OEM on the MM unless you have the "delete" tips without the baffles.

Thank you for the welcome. I will be watching for upcoming events. We have been to the RedBrick Station before - nice place and not far from home.

Welcome welcome welcome. Warning though...there is no cure for the addiction you just bought.

SHHHHHHHHHHH, now you let the cat out of the bag lol.

Once you start modding this car and see, hear and feel the difference it will become a sickness but in a good way lol. :burnout:

Welcome to the group...if u have the chance, I go to the car show @ rossville & Belair Rd every Saturday night about 7ish. Last sat. there were two marauders representing.
And YES it is an addiction...you'll see!
