Wanted To Buy Want to buy - 2004 supercharged Marauder

Hello William; Welcome to the club, I know your looking for an 04 S/C Marauder w/ low miles. If you have that kind of money, between the Charger, the boat, and what other toys you may have. I know you miss it also, these cars handle and ride like a dream, like a big sports car. I have an 03 in excellent condition, inside and out. SCT XCal2, SCT Advantage 3 Dealer custom tuning software, Ford Motor Company Service Manual Data DVD covers 2000-2004, it says 2003, but it actually covers 2004 Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury every nut and bolt from top to bottom, and front to back. I'm selling my 03, black ( panther interceptor ) badge on left rear deck lid, not because I want to I'm disabled. Looking at your profile, your a couple of years younger than myself. The car is very meticulously maintained, synthetic fluids, except for transmission that strickly ford fluid, anything else would do it more harm than good. Trans shifts noticeably firm in 1-2 and 2-3 shifts. The car just turned 50k on the odometer. It is listed here, under cars for sale, for $17,000.00 it looks, runs, and drives new. I noticed you'll pay for own shipping, and your in California. If your not so set on an 04, this could possibly work out for both of us. I have a vehicle in California now waiting to be shipped in an enclosed air-ride trailer. The vehicle, is stored in a friends garage under cover. I won't bring it here until the Marauder has gone, reason I have a heated garage and don't have room for both vehicles and I won't put the Marauder outside, it's always been garage kept. The 03, isn't S/C, but for the money you could put whatever S/C kit you like and set it up the way you want it, Pro-Charger, whipple, Kenne Bell, the sky's the limit plus you can data log, and tune it yourself. And William, you can install the software in as many computers as you like, this has a dongle key which plugs into any USB port to unlock the software, it even has a built in help section. Check it out, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Hey William; Just touching base, to see if you received the message on a shipping quote. Their not far from you, it's Countrywide Auto Transportation. A short time after I got off the phone with you, I called them for a quote. I explained that the transportation would be round trip, from California to Massachusetts, and back to California. They emailed me a quote for $2,485.00, which amounts to $1,242.50 each in an enclosed trailer, door to door. That's not bad, everyone I spoke to was closer to two thousand one way, and those were terminal to terminal. I've checked them out, and they have a pretty good reputation. Hi Bill; Mike D., we spoke in reference to my black 03 MM W/SCT XCal 2, and Advantage 3 dealer custom tuning software. I spoke to Barry, he said you would be in on Tuesday the twenty-seventh. When you do get in, I would appreciate you calling me with your intensions, on whether or not you still have an interest in the vehicle. I have two other people on the car, one questionable, but the last one is definite. I told him, he had two ahead of him that I was waiting to hear from. If you don't find what you're looking for, I'm going to put my '04 DTR up for sale. Prox 49K miles, naturally aspirated, and 2Yrs/51K miles of 5Yr/100K warranty left on it. And I live where there's no salt!

Countrywide's offer still stands. I'll let it go without the software for 16k, and still throw in the tuner. Let me know, I see you've had some replys but your ad still stands. Last chance to be able to do it your way, Mike.

Bill; If you haven't got enough common courtesy to answer your own phone, and have to relay messages through employees, your not the kind of man I would do business with in the first place. I just thought I would give you a call, before I take it off the site. If what your looking for is S/C already, I just hope you have enough common sense to know it's been beat on. If that's what your looking for GOOD LUCK!!! You had your chance at a real nice one, that's never been beat on, with everything included for $16.5K but you blew it. I'm beginning to think, that everyone in the wanted section of this forum, are either tire kickers, or dreamers which one are you? Look in the wanted section, and you see the same names. They have been there for months. If anyone of you were serious, you'd have one by now. I don't know Bill, maybe you've been around the chemicals for sewer-treatment too long. At least when I'm looking, and find something with potential it's a done deal, and I answer my own phone I don't pretend that I can't hear them. Enough said, don't bother to reply I may not be able to read or hear what your saying.:confused:
 
Sounds like there might be an interesting story there. You run across all kinds in this world--even on a website where you'd think everyone has a common interest.

Let's see if I can put this in politically correct language. The nicest way I can phrase this is to say that it would appear that most of the folks who claim they are in the market for a Marauder, are really looking for an extreme distress sale. They really don't want to buy a car. They want to steal a car without even having the courtesy to wear a mask. It's kind of sad that they appear oblivious to the fact that they are easily recognized as amoral, conscienceless shells of human beings by the rest of us. Betcha most of them go to church every Sunday. That way they can add hypocracy to their other endearing qualities.

WELL SAID!!!!!!!! When I posted my ad back in September, most of the names in the wanted section were there then. All you have to do is look at the number of replys, and the number of pages they've accumulated. The answer, to your post is as plain as the nose on your face. They've all had numerous offers, of some decent cars I might add. But their all still there, my opinion the section should be watched and if they start accumulating page after page of decent offers and nothings moving, bump them off. Their doing nothing but taking up space. Take a look at what I have to offer, and look at the price, that's a lot for the money. I hate to part with it, but I have NO CHOICE!!! I think their waiting to see if I'll drop the price again, NOT HAPPENNING $16,500.00 FIRM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Again, WELL SAID!!!!!!!!!!! ITLRUN.:run::2thumbs:

The good news is that mine was paid for a long time ago, and my good wife doesn't really want me to sell it. She knows how much I love my "police car" and thinks I should keep it. My reason for listing it was because I was downsized out of a job almost exactly two years ago, and it was the car I drove when calling on customers.

It has taken me nearly the entire two years to come to the realization that nobody wants to hire a 60-year old salesman, and I'm starting to feel guilty about having a Corvette and a Marauder and no job to justify owning the both of them. It's an emotional rather than a financial problem. For that reason, I might consider cutting the price, but there's no way in hades that I would consider selling it to someone who didn't love owning a Marauder as much as I do--for any price!
