Thanks to John, Dave came up with a great deal on an AVIC-D1, SWI, Ipod Adapter, new components and a Thunder 5601!!!

Dave's been waiting patiently since February for this. Was it worth it?

I guess HE thought so!!!!

I want to thank Rich, Leslie, and Jamie for opening their home to me this weekend, and for making it feel like Christmas in July. I cannot express how much I appreciate all of the work that they did to make this happen. I was totally blown away by the design and execution of this project which I left completely in the hands of Rich.

Rich and his family are one of a kind I really feel humbled by their generosity and kindness.

It was inspired by the Lincoln Blackwood concept truck which had (fake) wood with aluminum on the outside of the bed and was mirrored with blue neon on the inside. The production truck had a carpeted bed.

I believe we stayed 'in the family' using this inspiration.

It's tuned to about 135db wide open. Very conservative given it's capability. It should NEVER get hot or cause undue stress on the alternator in the way it's tuned and the way Dave listens.
