First owner

Walked away in June of '02 when the Dealership called me. Price was too high.

Bought it on 9/28/02 for $7,000. less :)

Kicked myself cause if I help out till January I could have had a blue one.

8 miles at pik-up 47,XXX now :):):)

no regrets big dog, no regrets!

No not really.

no regrets big dog, no regrets!

I had a '70 X-100 back in the day:)

My Father owned a L&M dealership for many years.

There are items on the car that many of us wanted to see make production but no no regrets.

I have never had a ownership experience that could ever equal this one.

The really cool people I have encountered has make it all worthwhile:up:

Original owner here! Bought 22 days after it was built. Started negotiating when it was being taken off the transporter.

Now that's dedication/determination. I didn't find out about them till April 04 and quite by accident or devine providence. Thus the journey began.

Bought new

I bought the Marauder leftover in Jan 04. It was a 25th anniversary car. By that, I mean it was the 25th anniversay of my last new car, a 79 Mustang I bought new right before I graduated from HS. I've bought new cars since then, but they were all for my wife - none for me. Might be another 25 before I buy another new one for myself.

I bought mine from the original owner on 1/4/08 with 78K on it and a few small scratches. They buffed out just fine.:D

Bought mine new almost 5 years ago to the day.

Since I bought it, I'm willing to bet I've let upwards of 50 people drive it. Since supercharged, easily 30 different people have driven it. I drive it to work about once or twice a month and there is always someone different asking for a ride. I just throw them the keys and tell them to turn off traction control, it's a lot more fun. Nobody is ever disappointed.

I bought a 2003 Blue in May 2003. An extremely enjoyable car which combines a rare blend of sport and comfort. Maybe Ford or GM will make a similar car in the future. However, the greater likelihood is that the Marauder is the last of a breed. I once read an article that someone bought six Ford Model T's before production ended. In his mind, no newer car would be superior. He drove them one after another until he quit driving. Maybe someone will buy multiple Marauders to duplicate this feat.
