My car on the track

P & H option ????

Great video--from the wheels and exhausts, looks like you have the performance and handling option---this GREATLY improves the handling ----my '92, '95 and '99 all had it and I wouldn't own a GM without it. The MM is still far superior to the GM with P & H--I've tested them both on the same closed course--MM at least 10 mph faster into turns. Enjoy the GM, it's a great car. :burnout: Maury

"96 GM HPP 157K mi., 2.25" Custom welded exhaust, Trans Cooler, PI Intake, JLT CAI, front and rear addco sway bars with poly bushings, front/rear ENS control arm bushings, Bilstien Shocks all around, PI Spring up front, Power Slot Brakes up front (rears soon), 3way 6X9's w/ 350watt kenwood, 12" Kicker Comp Subwoofer with 1000watt sub."
High performance package,+ front and rear addco sway bars w/poly bushings and front&rear ENS control arm bushings,Bilsteins and I think he means P71 springs up front.
Sounds like all it's lacking suspension wise is lowering it a bit and some better rear control arms as well as maybe a set of MM wheels and tires.
Nice car. Have you had it dyno tuned or do you have a tune on it from one of the vendors on mm.net or cv.net? If not,you should get it done, along with the j mod.

I have a tune by Lonnie. I also have a fully built transmission from him as well. I have to say his transmission and Darrin's TC I got are unbelievable performance wise, especially with the tune, it is just amazing! Also I do have modified control arms already (see pic). As for rims, I am looking at FR500's 9X18 up front and 10X18 in the back. I am also looking at a big break kit, still trying to narrow that down.

As for handling, unless the MM had mods as well, I am pretty sure I could take them in the turns. But alas that is academic, once I put my fully built motor in it will no longer be academic :) However, those with triologies and so forth (John comes to mind) would definitely offer a good run for the money.

I recently went on a drive with some S2000's and to say the least I shocked them:)

I heard last night at the street meets that some of the s2k people were really pissed that I brought my MGM, it gave me a big smile. I figured since someone had brought their porsche cayman s instead of their S2k, I would be fine:)

Good times :)

It looks and sounds great. The rear suspension stuff will help a lot. Also look at a Metco Watts link..you will eliminate roll. Also I found that firmer sidewall tires, Nittos for me 245/45/18 and 295/45/18 on widened wheels helped a LOT. Have fun. Dennis
