    PCV rubber sleeve source

I'm going to try some heat-shrink tubing. It should work, and hold at least long enough to get a proper replacement. Another alternative could be Dorman part# 47050, if I can get my hands on one.

needs better title In my humble opinion, this thread would be better serve the community if it had a better title. Something like "Custom radiator and mount option" or "Alternative replacement radiator".

    PCV rubber sleeve source

That looks very different from the original setup. Looks like you used a different pcv valve altogether, and moved it up near the intake manifold (my pcv valve is bolted to the cam cover). If that shiny bit of metal between the two rubber hoses isn't a pcv valve, what is it?

    Lighting Control Module

There are four identical relays in the LCM, any of which can fail. I replaced the one for the headlights a few years ago, the one for tails/fogs just a few weeks ago. Your assertion that the foglight circuit doesn't include the LCM is incorrect. There's a foglight 'on' relay in the LCM, and a...

The intake port and the PCV tube look to be significantly different sizes.

    PCV rubber sleeve source

Anyone ever have to replace the rubber adapter/sleeve that connects the PCV tube to the intake manifold? I went to Ford and they want $75 for the tube itself, which appears to come with the rubber sleeves for both ends. They also said 2 weeks for it to be shipped here from Memphis. Mine has...

What did you do to your car today?

Changed my BCM yesterday. Repaired it six or so years ago with some copper wicking, and didn't want to admit it finally failed. But, after going through the pinpoint tests to find the cause of my intermittent high-low blower action, even that pointed to the BCM. The solder joints on the old...

    Intermittent shut off problem

There's also a camshaft position sensor, works the same as the crank sensor. Before throwing in a new one though, have a close look at the wiring harnesses around the engine. Follow every inch, especially in the tight spots. Look for anywhere a harness rests on some other part (where not...

    Diff Cover

Looks like the e-brake bracket would work with the M04033-K cover. Has anyone installed this cover on their MM? I need a replacement and can accept some grinding, but not relocating the sway bar.

Grab those 17" rims while you're at it. Somewhat rare, and great for winters.

    Distilled or not Distilled

Tap water contains dissolved minerals. These minerals can crystallize and clog the radiator and heater core. Which doesn't mean it will, but it can, whereas mineral-free water cannot. So yeah, I use mineral-free water in the cooling system.

    Quick alternator question

The fact that the pluginski is white indicates it is the correct one. They also come in grey or black, both of which are the wrong type. As to the pulley, I'm not sure if you're asking how to identify a functioning clutch pulley in general, or if you're looking to get the exact same clutch...

    Taillights

Could be one of the relays inside the LCM. In my case, my taillights, front marker lights and foglights go 'out' together. A whack on the LCM lights them up again. I already replaced the relay for the headlights, now need to repeat for the other 3 relays in there.

Say, where did you go for the Coopers? I ended up going with the Falken Ziex, as the place near me (Queensway & Islington) had a decent deal on them, and don't do Cooper. Kal Tire offered the Nitto Motivo, but never got back to me about other options.

There's a tire shop on Ossington Ave, just north of Queen, probably named Ossington Tire. I've only been there once, but they were happy to apply the specs I gave them. They even provided a detailed before-and-after report of all of the relevant measurements.
