Most people will shoot down alternate fuels right away saying "your blow your engine!" without even knowing the facts. I'd say try a 50/50 mix at first. If you think about it, anything that would be ruined would had to have been replaced...
There is none because pressure is instant. We aren't in the 60s anymore guys...
Oil filters have anti drainback valves unless you're usng a *****iest one out there, which I think even those have them.
Just crank it over like normal. If anything you'd be causing extra wear on the starter from...
Just because it's the law doesn't make it right. All it is a way to get money for the state.
I'm sick of all these nickle and dime BS laws. You're going to give me a ticket for no front plate after I just told you I put a different bumper on and forgot to chnage it? IMO useless cops. Go find...
Maybe you should look for yourself and get your head out of your ass. More people want and have old military trucks than marauders.
Steelsoldiers.com is just one of these forums 43k+ members vs. MM.nets measly 5k+ :flamer:
You damn marauder people do the same damn thng. You buy parts for your car that sits in the garage so real marauder owners can't get them when we need them because you guys are hoarding them all!
I wouldn't really call these collectible. One of my military trucks is worth more rusted out than...
It's only once in a while on the highway on a straight stretch. I work 3rd shift so there is never anyone around me when I do it.
If I didn't have the Nittos I probably wouldn't go that fast. :banana2:
Hmm, it's strange that I've never noticed it since recently and I've had the tune since the begining of march I think. Maybe my driving habits have changed.
I've had a recent intermittent issue where I turn OD off, accelerate heavily then it will shift into OD randomly. I've had it happen maybe 4 or 5 times i the last few months. Seems to be in speeds about 100. Last time I was at about 125 and just about the time I let off it shifted and the speedo...
I'd be interested in the whole car as well-to fix that is.
If you part it out I need fog light bracket, rear bumper, possibly driver's seat if it is nice, 1 wheel, rubber hood bumpers on the radiator support and fenders, hood bolts, and the little plastic knobs that holds the trunk panels in.
This has been on going since August so I don't think that is an issue. The fuel, 3/4 of a tank, had been in my tank since the begining of May til about early to md August when I started driving it again.
Well I just did a little data logging. I kind of just played around and picked PIDs. I'm sure there are some inappropriate ones. From what I can tell, fuel pressure and MAF counts appear to be ok. What are some other PIDs I should log and is there a guide that will give me a little more detail...
I just did a few runs. I sprayed the EGR with carb cleaner. It didn't look very dirty. Problem still exists. The surging is most apparently mostly in the 1500-2k range and is particularly worse in the middle of that range.
On one of the rolling accels I did, it seemed like it was running...
I seafoamed it the other day then added the rest of the can to the tank. Also got my new tires put on last week and an alignmenet monday and still only getting 18.25mpg. I didn't see any broken or loose vacuum lines either.
The fuel pump was replace by the PO and in my experiences, when they...
$262 for 2 Nitto 420s 255/55/18 and $335 for 2 Nitto 245/45/18 555s from discounttiredirect on Ebay. Shipping was free. None of the chain stores carry Nittos and the other tire shop I checked was $100 more plus tax.
