Update... Installed the 2525s on an otherwise stock system and the sound is great. Raspy without being obnoxious, sound level is probably about 50% louder than stock during acceleration and about the same as stock during cruising. I likey

+1, probably crap in the throttle body. If all else fails take it to Toyota, they can fix that.

The Scout has the AMC 232 inline 6. You don't want photos at this stage of its rebuild. This thing has no business being restored but here I am going for it. And I can't believe someone else here has a Centurion, those are getting very hard to find. I'm also jealous of the 460, mines a 1/2 ton.

53K and mine has been repainted, not perfect but better than original. Pretty sad really, I've painted cars in my garage and the quality is better than Fords on these cars.

+1^ Also make sure it hasn't flexed itself too much and stretched, this can make mouldings very hard to get back on and look decent.

Left my o-rings out too, but not because I forgot. I tried to put them on the Dorman axles but couldn't get the C clips on with the o-rings there. Not losing sleep over it.
