You can make all the power you want, with the stock pan. You can also fill it with 7 quarts without the crank sitting in oil

You can hook 12 volts to the solenoids, tap them, fill them with silicone spray and they will usually work as new again

Most people do not realized they are painted from the factory. If you coat them, they will look different than a coated, stock (polished) wheel. The polishing rounds out the sharp edges of the spokes.

depress a schrader valve and see if freon is in it. If not, the accumulator probably rotted out, or there is a hole in the condenser. Did your problem start after the engine swap?
