03 Marauder $7500 Col, Ohio

This is my Mercury Marauder with 151k miles on it. This car is in great shape for the age. Motor runs great and it drives extremely smooth! Tires and brakes are in good shape. The car cosmetically looks like its 2 years old.It still has the factory floor mats. The only flaw I know about is there a rock chip in the windshield.

I am very interested in what everyone is thinking on my pricing. I'm not real sure if I am asking a reasonable price. It seems like everything on hear seems to go for 8-12k when there is nothing wrong with the car. I would appreciate input and if anyone is interested, I am open to offers. Thanks

There was a guy not to long ago selling one with 181k on it for around 5500- and he was getting alot of low ball offers .

That's pretty weak. 5500 pretty much even for just the cost of the car and the cost of parts to get it back to fully operational. This now has all new exhaust valves on the drivers head and valve job, new plugs, all fluids were replaced, front and read brakes are brand new, 3/4 tires are brand new, new egr valve. This car will probably see 300k miles if a responsible owner gets it. I am a certified for tech by the way and this vehicle was assembled with all new OEM parts.

But it still has alot of miles on it. Not trying to rain on your parade.
Why are you selling?

You might want to try and hold onto it. With those miles, you're bound to be lowballed.

I personally think you are not far away by your description. I would think $8000 would be a fair selling price.
My car has 132k miles, so I know that 151k is no big deal on these cars when you maintain them. Runs like new.

i bought this car because i have always wanted a crown vic. this is obviously way more awesome than a crown vic so i naturally wanted it. My origanal plan was to get this, fix it up and sell my van which is now my daily. my van is an astro with a 350 small block stroked to 383 fuel injected making 300rwhp. i figured i could sell it for what i have in the marauder, but no one has offered. I cant keep both vehicles cause i already have a car payment on my C6 corvette, so i am now tring to sell the marauder and possibly make a little bit. Any ways, yea it really is a shame to sell it but I think it is now my only option. Anyone interested in a 1996 Chevy Astro? 300rwhp. :coolman:

Ok i am lowering my asking price to 7500$. Is anyone interested? If so, I am open to offers. I have been driving it for the last two weeks and it is very hard to sell, but i need to get rid of it. Thanks for looking.

Just a suggestion, list out your mods, if you've had the LCM and EATC fix, what kind of condition is the paint in and things of that nature. Plus I'd post photos on here as opposed to a link.

Good luck

there are not many mods to the vehicle. it does have a k and n cold air on the engine. I has a different rear end gear, not sure what it is, but the speedo is off 12mph fast when you are traviling 70mph so i think it has a 3.73. it also has flowmaster mufflers on it. other than that it is stock

Yes very clean, I am not the only person who loved this car. The exterior is pretty much in great condition. We did some touch up on the hood from some rock ships(no rust) and then we wet sanded and buffed. The interior has no real wear spots to speak of. In very good shape
