2 Nitto 420S tires 255/55-18.. These were on the rear of my Marauder for about 4-5K highway miles. No burnouts. Went to a wider tire.

UPS, FED EX ground DHL all ship loose tires or two tires banded together..Another option is greyhound bus but you have to take them to the terminal and pick up at the terminal nearest to you and receiver.

Tire rack has a shipping calculator, but it is from their warehouse to your destination..Tires tend to be $12 to $25 each I am guessing

A few years back, I shipped 2 rears from Louisville to Chicago via UPS, and IIRC, it cost about $45.00 for both.

I would not band them together until speaking with UPS first.

Oh, put 'em in garbage bags, or box them up.

Sounds reasonable and I would be interested in these. My current nittos are starting to get the bald spot in the middle again
 
I had 2 tires delivered from UPS banded up. Most tire places prefer this method. Just slap a label on the tire and send. I have done this before as well as received tires in this method.
 
Received my Nittos from Discount Tire and they band them together for (2) rears and (2) fronts with the shipping label attached to the tire in a protective sleeve.

IRCC I paid about $60 to have the (2) rears shipped via UPS ground & $90.00 to have the (2) fronts shipped via UPS 2nd day air.


It took about 2 weeks to arrive but I live in Hawaii.

I cringe everytime I need something shipped from the Mainland to Hawaii....... :banghead:

The shipping fees are just outrageous!!!
 
Just shipped 2 Tires back to tire Rack last week (return) with the 2 tires band to gether it was 48.00 total approx 2 states away from me. So like others said figure 60.00 and youre in the ballpark. If Mebot decides he doesnt want them Ill take them!!!

Yeah I purchased my rear Nittos from Discount Tire Direct as well and they came packaged like that. Free shipping and fast delivery!
