2003 Marauder for Sale

Your car is not worth what you have invested in it. PERIOD. Very few are. IMO, if you turned down that, you are a fool.

Still, GL on it's sale. If you are that firm on it's price, it will be available for a LONG time.

Steve are you jealous that this guy might get more money than you did for your MM?

And if this guys car is still for sale 10 years from now, what's it to you?

I would LOVE it if he gets more out of his car then I did. That would mean the Economey is FINALLY picking back up, and those that have liquid fundsa re beginning to buy "toys" once again. If he would be happy to NOT sell the car in 10 years of it being for sale, he never really wanted to sell it anyways. Perhaps it is the Misses' wish for it to be sold? "See Honey, I have it for sale... but no one want to buy it / pay what it's worth"

Cars only have a value of whatever someone else is willing to spend. And, it is proven, many MM Owners over value their rides. I am no where saying I did not, I was just realistic about getting out of it when I did.

;)

Once again, GL on the sale.

Wow, this tread is so insane I had to log in to respond.

I'm from the North Hills... if any of you know anything about Pittsburgh, our kind doesn't get along well with folks from the South Hills.

But this is beyond stupid. South Hills offered his car for sale.

If you want to buy it, pull out your wallet. If you don't, shut your mouth.

If you want to sell your own car, good for you. Start you own ad and stay out of his.

This is a low-mileage MM... not unheard of but getting to be unusual. South Hills has calmly responded to some really stupid posts here... stuff I'd be really embarrassed to say.

It's also done "right" and it's turn-key. I think it would be a challange to buy a low-mile car and copy these mods. Can you find a cheaper one someplace in the country? Maybe. Can you build it for the same money? Maybe. Maybe not.

Some folks have more dreams than money. Some folks have more money than time. For those people, a turnkey car is very appealing.

Has South Hills been crying the blues that he can't sell his very special car in 20 minutes? Nope.

Has he been patient with idiots detouring his classified thread? Yep.

This is a helluva community when one member lists a car for sale and others jump into the thread to thwart his effots.

Me? I saw his ad listed in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette a week ago and put a linky to it on the other site "across town".

The value of this car is irrelevant to me. That number matters to the seller and the buyer. The rest of us can help or shut up, but if you're going to do anything else don't pretend you're helping.

South Hills... GL with your sale!

Well said Greg. This post should be a sticky here. Friggin thread crappers gotta learn their opinions are far from the end all:burnout:

Regardless of what he wants, the badgeless grille and trunk emblem delete look awesome. If it sells for 22 grand, that's cool. Remember at that price he's taking it in the shorts compared to what he's spent on the car and all the mods.

exact same car...

17,000 miles...same modifications

I would be thrilled with $20,000

PM me for details...except one guy has dibs (don't worry)

South Hills... GL with your sale!

Hey Greg:

Welcome back to our little jungle.

Greg is right, people from the North and South Hills don’t associate much; it’s not that we don’t like each other; it’s more like we’re on two different planets.

Last time I was really in the North Hills was twenty-something years ago, visiting wife number 1’s folks; she was a native of Shaler Township. I used to hang–out at the Mt. Royale Lounge with her brother Bugsy (I am not making this up) and his running buddies, and the folks up there treated me very cordially, even though I was from the “south.”

Anyway, thank you for your post Greg. It’s good to hear from another denizen of the “Burgh.” Life is good here; the Penguins won the cup for the 3rd time a few months back, the Steelers open camp tomorrow in Latrobe and begin the campaign for their 7th Super Bowl title, and the Pirates, well, they have the country’s finest ball park.

On the off-chance you ever pass through Peters Township, give me a shout; I’d love to see your Trilogy MM and would be very pleased to sponsor an adult beverage, or two.

BTW, here’s something I hope we can all stack-hands on; my avatar kicks-xxx. My best time in finding the hidden car?

Well, haven’t quite managed to do that yet….

Respectfully,

South Hills

Cassidy: Instead of hi-jacking this guy's thread, if you want to sell your car, why not start your own thread. Post pictures, price, location (NYC-or ???) etc.

Sounds like you have a nice car.

On ebay

Hello All:

Wanted to pass along the fact that I put the MM up on ebay yesterday. Be sure I am not mentioning this here in an attempt to induce someone here to buy it, but rather because I offered it up here and thought noting it was being auctioned now would be the right thing.

In what I hope will not be a vain attempt to head-off any who might feel compelled to tell me that my MM is not worth what I think it's worth, I'll agree to stipulate to that fact right now, hopefully taking that issue off the table, and maybe save someone a post.

On what I trust will be perceived as a positive note, I also wanted to comment that this is a great community, and that I have learned a ton about the MM from this site, and got EVERY idea for a mod on my rig right here. And, in most every case, several members took the plunge before I did, took a risk, and validated what was the theoretical, for which I am grateful.

Lastly, if I end-up holding on to the car, admittedly a possibility, it will be my pleasure to continue to pop-in here from time-to-time to touch base.

Thank you,

South Hills

S.Hills,

A sponsored beverage? How appealing!

Maybe we could enjoy a few and discuss just how under-valued these cars really are!

Cheers,

Greg
