Priming Seating for the American Flag Display of Mustangs.

On Friday, 3 June 2016, right next to the Marauders, Carlisle Events will present the American Flag formed by more that 150 Ford Mustangs (57 Red, 51 White, 35 Blue and 10 Silver) on the Hill between Gates 5 and Gate 6. The flag will extend across the first 4 roads from the Gate area. The MercuryMarauder.Net Crew will have prime seating right next to the flag if we are located in the same spaces for the past 6 years.

The Corvette crowd does this as well. Just hope the Carlisle events crowd has the space all figured out ahead of time as I'm not wanting to move my hot rod for the Mustang crowd to make a flag. They already take up 75% of the show field.

We will see how it all shakes out when the Showfield Map is released. The flag is planned for the area where the Red and Black Mustang registry was located. If so, it shouldn't encroach any on our area assuming we end up in the same place. The Map oughta be posted soon, I hope. The timing may make a difference, too. If they do this at 6:00 PM or after on Friday, most of us will be headed back to the hotel unless some hang around to witness the "herding cats" exercise.
 
My Carlisle packet arrived today. The window decal, the round thing-a-ma jig, and the letter enticing me to get a "goodie bag" loaded with car crap.

Only a few more weeks!

Got mine today too !! YELLOW SHOWFIELD Y197. Now we have to wait for the Map to see where they put us.
 
We'll be up on Marauder Mountain again this year right next to the planned Mustang USA Flag display per the maps below ....

Here is the Showfield Map for the 2016 Carlisle All Ford Nationals.

We will be in the Yellow Showfield (lower right corner of the Yellow area), Y197, Y202, and Y203 up on the Mountain again this year. The tent (shown as "W" on the map) is located about one road to the left from last year ....
