4.00" Megs

So here recently exhaust has been the topic among a few local marauder members, and just looking on line I see these megs 4.00" tips are well sought after.

Long story short, doing some research i read the manufacturer only needed about 25 orders (sets) to make a production run back in 2013, and the cost was $300 a set.

Would anyone be interested in a set? maybe JUST maybe if we get enough orders in, we can make this happen again.

300 was a barging and they said definitely no more after that last run. It would be nice but you go ahead and try.

I will call them and just propose idea and see what they say, Im sure they would make them. Who doesn't like business and money :)

yeah, you have 2 sets new, we know ;)

It was tough to get the last run - too many said yes but didn't pay up. Rich was getting frustrated.
Try, but your fastest way would be to advertise you want them here, often, and pay what they ask.
I don't think we''ll get 25+ commited buyers to produce more. GL

^^^^THIS^^^^ and post #2, already wanting them for less, keep in mind, most current Marauder owners are like #7 generation owners, it's hard to justify $300 tips in a 195k mile car..
 
Sorry, but it just won't happen. It was a stretch to make that last group buy come to fruition and we barely made it happen. We pretty much had to pay full price plus shipping (two things that were supposed to be discounted on a group buy run)

Rich said it was the last group buy and I believe it. Marauder members are notorious for saying they want something but when it comes time to pay, it becomes a ghost town.

Super doubtful and pessimistic, however as VMarauder said you won't know unless you ask

Disappointing. I hate that I'm suffering from what others caused. If it wasn't for Jerry or FBM and their add-on mods, I probably would have sold the car.
 
I would be in, sounds like a lot of doubt though. Maybe if all the money for 25 sets was already collected Megs would consider? A trustworthy person could collect the money and hold until we reached 25. If we dont, you get your money back. Some guys on CVN might join in too.

This has potential. Kind of like a kickstarter. Kickstarters only get funded if they meet their requirement. Once the kickstarter ends, if goal is met, everyone is charged. If not, everyone gets refunded.

First thing I would do is create a poll and see what kind of interest you have right now.

I, for one, would be interested in another set. Just saying

I will call Monday, and ask, see under what terms they will consider production. Locally I have 3 guys that would want a set (myself included) this can happen.

I will keep everyone updated, in the mean time, whoever is interested PM me and I will get a list going to keep track.

25 people is not a lot to ask for

^This^ if a long term trusted member were to have the funds fully collected and sitting in an account before even calling them, I'm sure they would respond in your favor. I'd just go off of what the reduced rate was supposed to be plus 10% and try to make a non negotiable offer.

Also keep it stupid simple with no options. 4" non resonated ONLY as that seemed to be the more desirable one.
